Purim Parade in Raanana

Kids enjoying the 2010 Purim parade - Ad Lo Ya Da -down the main road of Raanana. Every Purim each school creates a parade float or costumes for pupils to wear and then they parade down Ahuza Street. There is no prize for the best float, and the work on the float is mostly done by art teachers and volunteer moms but the kids have great fun being the ones who actually march in the parade. Raanana junior high and high schools make floats and the primary or elementary schools dress up in theme costumes. If you are an arty mom why not get involved, talk to your kid's teacher.
